HANDMADE FUTURE

An ARTIST & NOMAD Documentary Feature Film

HANDMADE FUTURE follows artisans in six countries protecting heritage, confronting complex middlemen, and advancing responsible trade — pushing back against fast, cheap production to quietly restore a frayed world through beauty and human connection.

Kirsten and Brandon Dickerson (founders of A&N) are at the helm of HANDMADE FUTURE, the first ARTIST & NOMAD feature film production (formerly called MIDDLEMAN.) Their partnership as filmmakers ensures the blend of creative storytelling and visionary leadership, grounded in decades of experience in both film and social impact initiatives involving artisans and people living on the margins of our global community. HANDMADE FUTURE marks Kirsten’s directorial debut, with Brandon serving as co-producer and cinematographer.

We look forward to screening the film at festivals and special events in 2026, starting with our premiere in NYC. We will update the festival details on this page and social media throughout the year.
