Paris in Spring

This special Flora + Fauna ecumenical retreat invites you to discover the beauty of Paris as seen through the lens of contemplative practices that focus on nature as a source of creative inspiration and intentional living.

Throughout this retreat, you will be invited to pay attention, notice details, and practice gratitude. Our daily reflections will guide us on a journey of exploring the intersection of faith with creativity and creation.

We will explore the works of artists inspired by nature, visit several incredible Parisian gardens, take watercolor classes, poetry, and nature journaling workshops in the gardens (weather permitting), and bask in the beauty of one of Europe's greenest cities.

“ll y a des fleurs partout pour qui veut bien les voir.” - Henry Matisse

(“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.

Inspiring artists for centuries…

Paris is always an inspiration for artists and garden lovers. To see Paris in April is an awe-inspiring experience, with the cherry blossoms blooming and early spring flowers such as tulips and daffodils blanketing the city with all their glory and splendor.

See how the Flora + Fauna of Paris influences the art, architecture, and way of life for Parisians. Visit Monet’s gardens and famed works inspired by his love of nature. Stay in the Latin Quarter in the heart of Paris, which encompasses some of the most emblematic monuments in Paris. In addition to the gardens and art experiences, other highlights include an evening of classical music in one of Paris’s most beautiful cathedrals and a cooking class with a local French chef.

We will stay 5 nights in a special boutique hotel with a commitment to responsible tourism, located on a quiet street in the Latin Quarter.  The hotel's decoration is inspired by plants, with elegant neo-art deco wallpapers and natural materials such as wood, rattan, and cane. The hotel is committed to sustainable tourism, complying with the strict ecological criteria of the Ecolabel, the official European label for environmentally friendly hotels.

We will start each daily with a morning reflection inspired by nature, and end each day filled with wonder and delight.
